Echoes trips
What exactly is the third item on my thankful list, and what does it mean? Well, an Echoes trip is a unique experience. It involves listening to Pink Floyd’s 23 minute epic “Echoes” while completely zoning out. This can be helped by using the iTunes visualizer, any mode. However, none of my recent Echoes trips have used that because iTunes tends to freeze whenever I use the visualizer now. Noise cancelling headphones can also be helpful with these Echoes trips, as I have just discovered. I also have made a few Apo fractals while on Echoes, and they’ve all turned out pretty good.
During an Echoes trip, there must be no direct thought. You must not be concentrating on a thing or person; you must just let your mind float and it’ll go where it goes. You can fall lightly asleep, but if the Echoes trip has worked, you will wake up when it ends. I fell asleep during one and had a dream set to the last half of Echoes.
They’re very good for broken hearts, inability to concentrate, boredom, and relaxation. Try it sometime.
